Don't know if you people are familiar with supervillains, but if you know about Magneto you will find this amusing.
Doubly so since Fanpro used the painting of the Royal Family by Goya as a model for the House Steiner Handbook.
So what can I say? Our kings provide great inspiration for US artists, and our uniforms are damn cool!
Left, His Catholic Majestic Juan Carlos I, right, that Magneto poser

PS: The uniform is the dress uniform of Captain General

Interresting I ran the Spanish text through Babblefish and it came up with this:
Of small, his brother greater Xavier died in strange circumstances in an accident with a pistol. As a result of it, in the 2099 humanity he tries to exterminate all the nationalists. Juan Carlos Magneto I leads until Sión, a space station that serves refuge as destiny in the universal thing, until the catalistas try to remain with the left motor and to go away by their account, while the vasquistas want to remain with the right motor and the españolistas demand \"coffee for all\".

Oh, that crap comes because that message board is political, I only linked from it because it was the biggest picture I could find. The political explanation of what all shit means is boring, but if you want, here's the gist of it.
To begin with, the site is a message board for Catalan (a region of Spain) separatists, wich resemble your Southern Confederate loons, you know the people that obsess about the Civil War and want the Confederation again, or the various paranoid militias that think the FedGov is plotting to impose a fascist dictatorship with the help of the UN black helicopters...wacky stuff like that.
Now to clarify the jokes of the posting

Juan Carlos came to the throne only due to a chain of bizarre circumstances and coincidences. He was appointed as heir to the throne leaping over his father by General Franco (who was for all purposes the regent), in turn, his father only become eligible to the throne because all his elder brothers were removed from the succession line by car accidents, sickness or unequal marriages.
Juan Carlos elder brother was killed in an accident while they were both playing with a loaded pistol, no foul play, just a sad accident.

You know, nationalism, or more precisely *separatism* is a form of paranoia. To cement their cause separatists warp History and use propaganda to invent an enemy and make their people believe the rest of Spain is out to get them, while it's quite the opposite.
So that's the pun in equalling mutants with persecuted nationalists. The joke falls flat since the King of Spain is a rather unlikely leader for the factions that are actively looking to overthrow the monarchy and tear apart Spain. You know, it's the kind of tasteless joke like writing an alternate story where Hitler leads the creation of the State of Israel
In fact the sad truth is that democracy in Spain is abortive, in the separatist regions of the Basque Country and Catalonia, the Franco dictatorship was replaced by the separatist parties dictatorship, in the Basque country this is propped up by the intimidation of ETA terrorism, in Catalonia "only" through the regional government intimidation, social pressure and indoctrination in schools.
In the rest of the country, where the sotialists (heirs of the Reds that were defeated in the civil war of 1936-39) attained power they have developed a corrupt government that resembles Mexico rather than Western Europe.

reference to one of the mottos of Franco regime that defined Spain as "unity of destiny in the universal aspect"...don't ask me WTF was it supposed to mean because I don't understand it either... I think it referred to the fact that Spain was not only the Peninsula but the former provinces of the Spanish empire, sort of like the British Commonwealth idea.
And the final paragraph is a parable about current political situation in Spain, from 1976 until the present. So that crap means shortly:
The King of Spain leads the prosecuted nation (democracy threatened by the remnants of the dictatorship, the King stopped a coup in 1981) to the wonderland of democracy and constitutional government but that dream is threatened by the Catalan and Basque separatists trying to part and go their ways while the rest of Spaniards, or at least those that truly believe in democracy and the unity of Spain demand equal rights and duties for everybody , without the Basques and Catalans getting special privileges "coffee for everybody"
That was Spanish politics 101, now with the Sotialist coup of 2004 that toppled the ruling right party following the March 11 bombings, the tensions are spinning out of control and civil disorder and anarchy loom just around the corner. Best case scenario, a breakup like Czech republic and Slovakia, worst case... Yugoslavia part deux.
Welcome to interesting times, I wonder if I could ask for political asylum in the US embassy...
(No wonder that I drink..)
