This was a group project done up by myself and some of the folks over at Sarna, it is only a rough testing of the idea so we went with the larger chassis and worked from there.

AT-TE? What is that? I've heard of AT-ATs, AT-STs, AT-PTs, and MT-ATs, but never that.

The AT-TE stands for All Terrian-Tactical Enforcer.

These machines are seen in Ep2 and Ep3. They are the first generation walker vehicles in use by the Republic and the Grand Army of the Republic aka the Clone Armies, during the Clone Wars. They set the bar for the future walkers that we see in Ep5 and Ep6.

They are still around in the Star Wars Expanded Universe and still pop up from time to time on both sides of the Galatic Civil War.

If you have the New Essential Guide to Vehicle you can find out all about it or you can got to www.starwars.com and look up info on it in the database there.

Why i did it this way:

The AT-TE moves at 60kph, has 6 Anti-Personel lasers which screams pulse lasers, the primary cannon has a 360 arc of fire, and the armor on the AT-TE was not very effective at stopping Anti-Vehicle Weapons.

I like it. Very nice. I can see both getting used, yours as the standard model and mine as the "Hey here is an idea" kind of take on the beast.
