I like it. Though I do remember my toy having matching arm's but I guess they changed that as well.

The one I dug out of the attic didn't have any arms...the box says RTOJ on it with a 1984 date...confusing...

I guess arms is the wrong word. But matching weapon turrets. Over and under barrels with a armor plate on the outside. I tried to do a AT-AT but couldnt get one that I was happy with, anyway this is my take on the AT-ST.

The pictures and drawings I have show lasers on one side and missiles on the other, with twin lasers under the cockpit.
Either way works though...

Heres my take on the AT-ST. Im figuring the body lasers are medium and the turret ones are smalls. I figured that the best way to do the co-pilot lasers and concussion grenade launcher was with arm turrets.
And yes, I looked it up and the AT-ST does in fact have a top speed of 90KPH

Sadly we never see it get up to top speed, since the movies show it fighting on Hoth and Endor...deep snow and forest, and given that the Imperial manuals on use of the AT-ST state and I quote:
AT-STs will no longer be deployed on plantes with an abundance of trees or other known obstacles such as rock-wielding primitives." -Excerpt from the Imperial AT-ST manual, updated shortly after the Battle of Endor

I can kinda see where youare coming from thre, but at the same time if I think if you are going to incorporate someithnmg fomr another universe into the BattleTech Universe, then you need to give it the BT flavor. In other words most of the Clans detest vehicle, and would not develop them. Surethe IS has caputred clan weaponry, but those are used for field refits and the like. not to put on newly built units (unless they happen to end up on the front line where they get the field refit). So they should be built using IS tech, I know it makes it harder and all, but it is just my two cents on the matter . . .

I think that clan tech for imperial designs is fine, because designs from old republic were less advanced and they seem to be better suited for IS technology.

I agree, however, I tend ot be a battletech purest. If it goes against the house/clan doctrine, they wouldn't build or deisgn it. Which clan is it, Clan Raven (?) or something like that that fields a lot of armor and such.

Whenever I use a conversion in a game, i usually convert alot of units and use only them. I create a BT conversion for that universe so to speak. I usually do this because it makes no sense to have those unit otherwise.
Sometimes thou, i do make conversions to be used within the BT universe.
