==Overview:==
The StarosTechnologies ST-48 Thundercracker is another of the variants of the
ST-46 Thundercracker to come of this well know company's assmebly lines. The
Thundercracker has a one of the top speeds for it's class of figthers and in
the hands of a skilled pilot it can really turn heads and make the enemy
forces take notice and seek cover. Twin laser/missile combo of weapons allows
for an awesome array of firepower and backed up with the punch of the Golon
Starheart PPC allows the Thundercracker to give out greeting card that is not
matched by most fighters and unwelcomed by all ground units.
This variant seems to be one that will go far if it enters production.
Currently it and the ST-47 are both being tested and put through the ringer.
Odds are both will see production given how well the original has done.

That was first idea that came on my mind when I saw it. In cannon BT there is no connection between the performance of the fighter and it's appearance. Sometimes I just look on the stats and I see it (my Swallow fighter resembles old Mig 15 with forked aft that resembles that of real swallow).
