OGC is back for 2005! This year, however, it will be up in Manchester, NH, for those that remember it being in Nashua last year.

The Con will be at the Radisson Hotel on July 29, 30 and 31st.

Currently, there are 5 games scheduled as far as Battletech goes. 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday (and of course there are plenty of other games scheduled as well, but we don't care about those ).

The Saturday games are at 8-12, 1-5, and 7-11. The first game is called Tremors and is a Free-For-All scenario allowing Inner Sphere, Level 2 custom 'Mechs no bigger than 75 tons. The second game is a scenario with the clans Hell's Horses and Wolf facing off with each other. I believe the third game is a scenario taken out of the Fox's Teeth scenario pack.

The Sunday games are at 8-12 and 1-5. The first game is a scenario called, Gone Buggy. It pits a recon unit, the Bug Brigade against their arch rivals, the Bug Bashers. The second game is a King of the Mountain Free-For-All scenario allowing Inner Sphere Level 2 custom mechs with no jumpjets.

NOTE: It should be known right now though that the Tremors game may be switched to something else soon. The game will still be a FFA, but it will be with standard 'Mechs only, no customs, however, Clan 'Mechs would be allowed.

Additional info can be found on the website.

Ok, just an update. The first battletech game on Saturday, Tremors, has now been officially switched to a scenario called, 'Get the Orca!'. It is still a Free-For-All scenario, but it will allow only tournament legal, level 1/2, official mechs.

Also to note, management has now shifted ALL event slot times up 1 hour. So all events will now be running from 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm,

Ok, a little update reminder for the convention which will be happening next month. There have been a few more Battletech events added to the listings. Even a couple Midnight games for you die hards out there. Here's a link to the events page on the website.

Oh, it should be noted, as of the current moment, one of the Battletech events is currently missing from the list, but it is still playing, it just got left off at somehow. It is the 'Gone Buggy' scenario mentioned earlier in this thread which will be in Slot 8, IE Sunday morning.

Hope to see some of you guys there.

Call in sick! They'll never need to know.
Come on, you know you want to. You NEED to! The call to cause mayhem and destruction is simply too hard to resist... >Smile

Of course, if they do find out, you can always try the old Jedi mind trick in on them if really desperate.
