------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
This unusual mech has recently begun testing on Arc-Royal. The current unit
designator is the Bullfrog, so named due to its unusual design.
Based on the load-out and design, it's clearly a recon unit but one with
enough fire power to defeat most types of infantry and even some light
carriers that it would come across. The ER medium lasers, the ECM, and the
Active Probe are positioned just beneath the head, giving the unit the
appearance of having a throat bulge. In addition, the mech's long legs were
specially designed around jumping.
Backing up the medium lasers are twin flamers and four RL-10s (two of which
are rear-firing). Although not much, by virtue of it being a recon mech it
isn't supposed to be seeing much combat anyways. The thick armor also works in
the mech's favor.
==Capabilities:==
For those who play based on text fluff:
1. Due to the location and bundling of the ER Medium Lasers, treat the Active
Probe and TAG as if they had the lasers' range.
2. As the mech was specially designed for jumping, reduce all jump-related
penalties (such as piloting checks and gunnery rolls) by 1.

Maybe it would be a little faster, for 3067 era it's just average speed for scout, using reactive armor would help with the bullfrog image, if there is space for it.

Why? A Beagle with a range of 12?!?
The range of the TAG is reduced from 15 to 12?
The mech itself is a good reconmech!

I say drop the RL10s for either more speed if you can get it with the extra 6 tons or go with a Streak SRM4 and maybe an extra laser or reactive armor.

My mistake.
I thought that TAG (like the BAP) only went out to 9.

The TAG has a range of 5/9/15 (the medium range sounds odd but so it is)
A Beagle ha sa range of 4 (no medium or long range) so bringing it up to 12 sounds a bit much to me.
