==Overview:==
With the abject failure of the Rakshasa in both its models over the years. The
production line was looking to be scrapped, however a bright engine pointed
out that the biggest point against it was that it made a poor copy that was
too easily disabled.
The solution was to gut the mechs weapons and engine and rebuild from the
ground up. The redesign of the entire mech caused it to need a new name in
some eyes.
==Capabilities:==
At range an unpossesing ER Large laser and an ER PPC anchor a servicable
setup. The C3 Slave helps this mech score hits at those longer ranges.
In close the Medium lasers, dual Streak SRM 4s, and a Large Pulse Laser make
for a dangerous machine well suited to stripping its opponent of armour.
The biggest knock against it comes from its number of heat sinks not really
letting it manuver as well as it could be in a running battle.
==Deployment==
This renaming and redesign of the weapons suite is just as likely to end up
ignored and changed over to a new design as the Rakshasa production lines of
the Draconis Combine are needed for a proven design.

Just curious as to why it has some many different lasers of the same class. This will require the user to have twice as many spares on hand. It has good potential for damage, it just seems to lack any sort of focus.

The ER Large is there to take the place of the second ER PPC I couldn't quite shoe horn into the chassis. (would have required 4 tons I couldn't find)
The Large Pulse is there because I believe if I have to mount an IS pulse I want to at least match the standard Medium Laser range profile.
The solo ER Medium was me seeing that my short range heat bracket had two heat to spare so I could bump a Medium up to ER Medium.
The Medium lasers are there simply because they are my stock weapon.
As for lacking a focus. I think thats both its problem and its solution. It seems to have hit the problem of being average in every respect. With no real strong point, which sort of lends it well to campaign but at the same time limits it because there will always be a ride you want more in any mission.
The original idea for this mech was something that could turn a Zues or Stalker or Orion into kibble and that jumped but was slower than a 3025 Charger. It sort of morphed over the design phase into something else.
The weapon supply is an issue. But for most units like my regiment of house troops. ER Large and Pulse Large are considered almost stock gear depending on the unit (standard large doesn't exist to me). On the other hand, I usually feel stocking all three types of medium lasers are worth stocking because the choice sometimes can be worth it in my mind.
If I was outfitting say a lance or company with supplies I'd always be bitching bout the variation in this mechs laser components. In a battalion or Regiment setting all those parts are going to be needed anyway... so whats the issue. Depends on the average size unit you use.
