And to the evil arch-enemy Canadians at that! AAUUUURRRghhhh! Oh well I guess having the best record in the conference doesn't mean squat. (except we will get a banner) Now us B's fans can't even root against Camille in the next round. At least the Celtics are still in it.

Banners for not winning are stupid and totally suck.
They should yank down all the banners that do not celebrate winning the Cup.

Well, I'm of the type that believes that the regular season's success does stand for something. Not just to position yourself for the playoffs, but to show that over the long haul of the reg season your team persevered and came out on top in the conference.
I understand that many sports fans don't believe that a season was at all successful unless a championship was won. But I can whole- heartedly enjoy a team who's played well all year. Just because we havn't won the cup in 31 years doesn't mean I can't enjoy the team year in and year out.
We all know any team can get hot in the playoffs, and a golie standing on his head, throwing his stick and relying on the posts can win you a series and sometimes even a cup.

That has to be the worst..... loosing to a bunch of Frenchie Canadians. But you have a Super Bowl..... yeah you can not drink from that throphy but you have one. SO no more bitching from you New Englanders of a drought of championships.
AWAD- The motor city almost went into shock when the Wings dropped the first two...... by hte way what kind of ball do they use in Hockey

Well we were hoping for a Trifecta. And now the Celtics have to play a game 5 against the 76's and if they lose, this town is going to get REAL ugly!
