Also do you get a message if your design is rejected? I sent in two designs at least a week ago and I recieved anything since.

Sometimes months, sometimes hours.
It's a crapshoot.

That's about it. Could be a day if you're lucky, but that happens seldom. It usually takes several weeks or more.
Perhaps one of the moderators should add the answer to this question to Mordel's locked/sticky post at the top of this forum. It would make things just a little easier for new users, I suspect.

A crapshoot with factors. It depends how many other designs are in the quene, and the rate the mods are approving designs.

please allow 6 to 8 weeks processing before your refund is sent to you.

And right now that seems to be accurate! About 3 or 4 weeks ago I submitted a block of 17 reviews one was accepted about a week ago. Nothing in the other 16 and since My reviews have generaly been accepted with no problmes my only theory is that Mordel has been swamoed and he has been unable to get to the rest of them.

Ok, heres what I can tell you. Steel-Scorpion is the one who is currently mostly responsible for Mech Designs/Reviews. I spoke to him just last night on IMs, he is VERY busy irl, and is not on much. Thus his queue is backed up. Other than that all I can say is be patient, I'd work it down for him... but I have to catch up my own queue first. Thats all there is folks, I know that it can be a pain, but I have several waiting too.
Anyways, StarRaven has a good idea.. maybe chihawk or Vagabond could add it to the sticky.

This has got to be a speed record. I was reviewing three new TROs when Ilooked at my credit count as I finished the third review. 8 new credits apeared I finished and went to the B&G two new PMs . Mordel had checked and approved the first two reviews while I was completing the third . VERY impressive!

Yes, happily Mordel has been very busy the last few days 
I personally am glad to see him back.
He did something similiar to me with a review, was a couple hours but still really fast hehe.
Now if I could just get the dang posts caught up... still ~1700 to go... and Mordel did a lot, and I've done over 2 or 3k now... hard to keep track when there are new posts bumping it back up every day hehe.
