==Overview:==
When the production facility that made the Striker was lost, few mourned.
By that time, the Striker had long-since become obsolete, and aside from the
few hundred units left in service (with the number decreasing due to combat
losses and parts attrition) had been all but forgotten about.
More than a few people scratched their heads when it was announced that the
newly rebuilt Stormvanger facility was looking to produce a re-vamped Striker.
The only real differences worth noting between this model and the 2C model is
the use of endo steel and the installation of a right hand. An additional
medium laser, CASE, and some more armor round out the mix.
One theory is that Stormvanger wanted a "cheap" assault mech to supplement
sales of their re-designed Cyclops. The availability of a C3 version of this
mech has fueled the rumors.

The 3C3 version of the Striker replaces the head-mounted medium laser with
a C3 Slave unit.
==Deployment==
The armed forces of House Steiner and House Liao possess most of the Star
League-era Strikers, and all of the Steiner machines remain in military forces
stationed in the Lyran Alliance. House Liao has recently deployed its Strikers
in its front line 'Mech units, whereas most Lyran Strikers are in militia
units along the Steiner Periphery border near Marik space. The rest of the
known Strikers are spread throughout the Inner Sphere and the Periphery,
reportedly in the possession of several mercenary units.

hmm why no ER PPCs or ERLarge ?
this is more of a straight upgrade done to the heatsinks. With 28 heat dissipation, the mech can fire both ERPPC and ERLarge without much fear of heat buildup.
the AC5 is a nice choice though, a Davionist can put some really good stuff in there.

Fluff.
The factory doesn't have access to ER weapons (I think I forgot about that when I did the Cyclops tho; oh well). On the other hand, they have a liscence to produce the Johnston PPCs and electronics.
