The BMR says that weapons can only be rear mounted in the Head, Torsos or Legs. On a Bipedal mech that means you can't have them rear mounted on the arms.
But what about Quads? Technically there are no arms as the arms now become front legs?
HeavyMetal Pro doesn't allow you to do this, but wanted your thoughts. It would make sense that you couldn't since the rear legs would get in the way of the rear-mounted weapons in the front legs.

Well, unless the legs are in some asymmetrical configuration (having the front legs farther apart or closer together than the rear legs), trying to fire rear-facing weapons would be nigh-impossible without hitting your own vehicle.
No, rear-firing weapons should not be mounted on front legs.

Only reason I could see for doing such a thing would be if you were really worried about infantry, armored or not, getting underneath you.
Another quad question to ponder. The underbely's armor, is it rear torso or front torso? I think it's rear torso as it is indicated to be some of the weakest armor on the chassis in the TRO.

Which doesn't matter because you can't shoot at them if they're in your hex anyway...

The armor diagram is an abstract to match the fire diagram...

If you can mount weapons forward on the rear legs, shouldn't you be able to rear mount weapons on the front legs?
