This design is one to be reckoned with.
Very heavy armament at close ranges gives the unit the ability to hammer all who cross its path. HOwever, like those who have reviewed this, t has its flaws.
The XL engine coupled with its medium weight armour can prove to be a problem is someone punches a hole from beyond its weapon's ranges. Which brings me to the next flaw. Ranged weapons are seemingly absent. An LRM/20 can and will eventually run our of ammo and an ER large laser only has limited uses. Without more ranged weapons, the mech cannot fend for itself when ambushed. Adding to the liabilities is a lck of jumpjets. Though minor, these systems could help propel the mech into forrests or water or cliffs to avoid incoming attacks.
In all, the mech is great at close ranges and ambushes but has problems in open areas with lots of enemies.

O. K. I am a little slow in responding to this I know But I have some issues with this review first off the Allis Chalmers Corporation piled 19.5 tons of standard armour on this monster. That translates to 307 points...THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED ON A 100 TON BIPED!!!!! The only way to get more armour is to go quad. Secondly I was also limited in what I can do by critical spaces there is exactly ONE free crit left. No way to swap the XL which uses 6 extra crits for Endo steel which needs 14 like some of the other reviewers suggested. when critiquing a design you need to look at those crit spaces to be sure that a change you suggest is feasable. This mech is a limited production mech used for defending cities and usualy is teamed with the CHT-1 Cheetah type mechs which are fast thirty ton lights that make up over 90% of the ODFs mech strength and have eight differant vasriants or some of the hand full of Harley-Davidson HD-7 twenty ton quads. which include avariant with three LRM 5s and one that carries an ER large laser.

Wow, you sound a little peeved. With an incorrect view like that, I can understand why though. Don't worry though, for problems like these, that's why you have us other users around.

And now I just feel like I shoved my foot in my mouth! He may have been incorrect but he gave it a better rating then I did and I thought it was a pretty kewl mech too. It's remarks like these which keeps me as the units cook rather then a lance commander lol.
