Men clad as ninjas rob 7-Eleven
Statesman staff
Edition Date: 10-23-2005
Boise police are looking for two men who robbed a 7-Eleven while dressed as ninjas.
The robbers, described as being in their early 20s, walked into the 7-Eleven at Ustick and Maple Grove Roads around 2:45 a.m. Friday, threatened a clerk with a butcher knife and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen heading West on Ustick, Boise police spokesman Lt. Randy Roper said.
A dark-colored passenger car was seen speeding away from a nearby Pizza Hut soon after the robbery and may have been involved.
No one was hurt in the robbery, which is still under investigation.

A chain of convenience stores.

Robbery by ninjas sounds a bit like the things done in a Vampire campaign going off the tracks. Our characters were young, poor and reckless, so they thought nothing of stealing everything they needed for a job. Night of the Ninjas!

Great, one hopes the media here in the States doesn't find out about that connection or we will see another round of anti-gammers poping up blame all games from RPGs to board games for the evils of life.

The thing that burns my ass (aside for a flame about 3 feet high), is that the people who condemn roleplaying games and video games as the reason people go violent, are the same ones who want looser gun enforcement laws.
Remember, the constitution was written in the 1700s, when "Bearing Arms" meant a musket, not an automatic.
Sorry, just venting a bit.

I tell ya, the only thing keeping me from killing everybody I see are my copies of Day of Defeat and CounterStrike.

A gun is a gun. And actually the ones bashing games aren't the ones wanting less gun control they are the same ones who keep demanding harsher gun laws if not outright taking them away.
