Ok, the BMR gives use rules for repairing Mechs. However, it doesn't give, to my knowledge, rules on healing Mechwarriors who have suffered damage.

My question is, How many days does it take to heal 1 point of damage to a Mechwarrior?

If I remember right in Max Tech is a rule for healing (see MASH). But I don´t know if there are times given. Maybe you can adopt RPG rules (sorry no books in reach now).

If I recall it correctly, in Mechcommader warrior had to stay one mission at home to heal one point of damage.

I do not remember anything in table top being specifically mentioned. But I think it would be done in abstract. One or two level or wounds is first aid so right back in. Three may be a few days, while four and five might take weeks to come back from.

AWAD- Nothing like having a MW die in teh cockpit of an almost fully functional mech

MechCommander healed two points for every mission skipped, and one point if the pilot went on the mission but wasn't wounded further.

I've always adopted the RPG rules for this, though. Length of healing dependent on how bad the damage was.

I'd say case by case. Because, abrasions and cuts and bruises heal faster than shattered bones.

I think a realistic method would be to take the number of wounds times one day each. Thus, if a mechwarrior has taken 2 wounds, hes going to be out for two days.
Seeing has how more wounds take longer to heal, I think that lots of wounds would take more time.

It would be different on the conditions as well. You heal better in a MedFac than sitting in your cockpit...

Just found it

p. 57 CombatOps: M.A.S.H. unit may make 1d6 healing actions per week per unit experience level (from 1d6 green to 4d6 elite).

As one action it may heal 1 point of damage from mechwarrior/pilot, but only once per week for each warrior.
