Primary List
Rigel CMT -6 GMT
Ralgith EST -5 GMT
Stinger PST -8 GMT
Delta EST -5 GMT
Secondary List
Wanallo England GMT
Kyu Kage Unknown
Ok. These are the final lists.
As you can see, I selected the 4 players who live in the U.S. and will therefore, only be at most 3 hours apart in time.
Wanallo, you will be my first alternate player.
As most people will actually have lives, I am not excepting many responses until after the first of the year. In the mean time, however, I will be on-line and will be more then willing to chat with the players about what they wish to do.
Happy Holidays People. I look forward to being your GM.

So, how do we go about generating forces and deciding who gets which sector?

have you gone and read the rules yet? they can be found on my campaign website in html and rtf format.
Every player needs to go and read them. After that, we will begin deciding what game limits we want.
I, however, am thinking that the game should be a 3 planet game with likely a 3 to 4 lances per player. It sounds like a good start for the first beta game.

I started reading it, but it was at night after work and I got too tired. I'll go back and read the rest.
As for the number of lances and such, sounds good to me.

ok. I would like my players to post that they are here and ready. It is a new year, and what better way to celebrate then by playing some battletech.

Hey...I don't have THB...(one of the FEW books I'm still missing...) which may confuse me when rules from it start flying around...but you seem to have referenced and copied from THB that I can get by.
I think 3 lances is a good idea. I call dibs on the blue sector!

Oh yes, why do you have 2 campaigns?

ya. I copied many sections almost word for word. However, I gave credit, disclaimed, and altered enough to hopefully not get sued up the wazoo. lol.
So ya, the rules and info that will be used for this game are all their and should be easy to obtain. The only piece of outside software or info anyone will need is Megamek and a basic understanding of BT.
As for the 2nd campaign. It is a place holder. In the future when or if this game gets popular and draws enough players, I will run a game or two at the same time. Until then, I plan on rotating campaigns. When campaign 1 is finished, I will start #2 but keep #1 avalible on the main page. When #3 starts, I will move #1 to the archive and leave #2 on the main page.
This way, people can enjoy past games and get interested enough to join.

I'd like to put dibs in for the red sector. But Not sure if Vagabond has a different idea. When are we going to start picking units for the upcomming battles?

Well, I think we need all of the prime list players to respond and say they are ready. That might help...and he also needs to allocate lances/points....
