I an so hooked on this game. I never played RCT1, and I don't have the computer power for RTC3, But I do have RCT2 for the X-Box.
I just built a coaster based on Kingda Ka ( the worlds tallest, fastest rollercoaster at Six Flags, New Jersey) Not only was cheap to build, But I can't keep the sims off it. I charged asmuch as $20 a ride. And they still paid to get on. It was great.
But my park is really lacking in water rides. I came up with some OK designs. But the best Water ride I have been on was at Paramount's Carowinds called 'Flying Super Saturator' I only wish I could make that ride in RTC2.
Most of my parks are makeing money. But I do have one that is losing money. I figure (unless I do something about it) it will be completely broke in about 3 years. And it all started when I paid off the loan from the back. only then did I lose money. The lesson here, stay in debt, it the american way

I've played a few of the Tycoon games. Right now I am sort of interested in trying Prison Tycoon. Saw it in the store the other day. The concept just seems amusing enough to try. Provided the price falls to $10 or so. Someone needs to make a Mecha Tycoon game.

To be specific, its any of the Mechwarrior: Mercenaries games.
My wife picked up Coaster tycoon 3 and the Splash expansion a few weeks ago. Since then, her laptop has barely been turned off. Only when she sleeps does the game ever stop.
