it is sad that this is happening, but frankly, i agree with mud. They should sell their licensing rights to another company and leave the business.
I played Rifts and stuff, and i was never really impressed. They system was always to unwieldy for my tastes.

Granted, but the setting was fantastic...you can get around the rest...
If they sold it, we'd likely end up with D20 Rifts, which to me isn't so bad, but to others...

Rifts is my favorite gaming system, and I gamemaster a game of it weekly, but I'm not going to support them in this because I always get treated badly on the forums. I was just banned for talking about how they could sell ebook copies of their books online to raise revenue. Talking about ungrateful saps.
Oh well, have fun going out of business because you enjoy snubbing customers. I'm not the first one to hold this view of palladium.

Seems that making it in the long haul in this business is tough. RIFTS relied on cool world and Mega Damage munching. So once PSP2 could do all that, it was game over. Did not have a feel or true genre to hang it's hat on.
