Well, I've got a reinforced battalion under my command... but I doubt you could afford us. We have too many pretty shiny new machines 
Besides 1/3rd of my force is currently occupied anyways.

My unit is not for hire right now either. We are already under contract. And, to be honest, we don't like the FWL as our employer. To many Wobblies in to many positions of control or power there.
We occasionally are in the borders of the FWL, but most commonly these trips are not welcome...........we dodge a lot and try to sneak about.

His smile widens as he raises his hands in a welcoming gesture.
"Oh, you've misunderstood me. Free Worlds League isn't the employer, this is strictly private business. I am the employer."
He reached into his vest slowly, pulling open the flap with his other hand to show him retracting a small digital pad.
"As for money...well you haven't seen my pocketbook. Free enterprise is becoming bigger business than the houses would like. As a show of sincerity..." he motions to the bartender," a round for these fine gentlemen please."
He holds the panel up close to him so that no-one can read it.
"I'm not looking for units. I'm looking for, pardon the cliche...'a few good men'. Experienced with hostile environments, close quarters hand to hand and weapons, scouting and reconnaissance and most of all, the ability to recognize the value versus risk factor of any given situation."
With that he places the pad on the counter, face down.
OOC - you wanna know what's on the pad, send me a P.M. and put a segue in here showing that you picked it up (don't be greedy)

Fang waits a moment to see what happens. When no one moves, he slowly gets up and walks over to the counter, aware of the other patrons watching him. He places a hand on the pad, and pauses. Fang is thinking of the last time something like this happened,and how it almost cost him his life and his mech. Desperation takes over and he flips over the pad.
