After realizing that they had just rebuilt the popular Thunderbolt, Ground Zero Technology promptly sacked the current team of designers and hired an all new design team. " What the hell were they thinking" was commonly heard from the CEO's office when the embarrassment was brought to his attention. The new design team immediately saw the potential in the initial Tormentor, and thought they could still use the chassis and just rework it with existing materials, to make a decent heavy mech that can hold its own. The Fell Hammer was the result.
Overview: The GT-TRMT-1D Fell Hammer is a rework of the failed Tormentor. The chassis and armor allocation remain the same. IN all actuality, only the weapons have been reworked and moved around. This saved on costs considerably seeing as how all the parts were already on hand for constructing the Tormentor.
Capabilities:
the most significant change is the replacement of the Large Laser for a more potent PPC, thus increasing the range and punch of the mech. The Medium Lasers and the LRM 15 change positions. The quad of lasers now in a line down the right side of the mech, with the LRM now in a blocky mount extending slightly beyond the left torso. one flamer was dropped, and the remaining flamer was moved to the head of the mech. This configuration gives the Fell Hammer a good long range punch, and decent short range follow up. Initial testing has proved it to also be more effective than the original Tormentor. A single heatsink was lost in the change, but once again, a skilled pilot should have no troubles.
Deployment:
The previous orders of the Tormentor have been canceled by GZT, and replaced with the Fell Hammer. Initial response has been good, and Ground Zero Technologies is expecting the Fell Hammer to become a popular lower cost mech in this world of expensive new tech.
footnote* There was an unsubstantiated report concerning the unveiling of the Fell Hammer. During the press conference, an unidentified report stood up and asked a question.We have a brief feed of the incident.
" Say..you know what? That mech configuration is just like the.."*BANG BANG* thud.. CEO: "Anymore questions?"
Ground Zero Tech of course denies all allegations

RA-PPC
RT-4 Medium Lasers all forward facing
2 Heatsinks
LT- LRM15
2 Ammo(LRM15) 16
H-flamer
RL-2 hs
LL- 2 hs
Armor and everything else should remain the same as previously posted Tormentor
