Please correct me if I am wrong. In another forum on Sarna, the topic was rasied that endo steel crits in Omnis were not fixed, and could be moved around. I was always my understanding that Omni crits for ferro, endo, XL, core heatsinks(not ones added in weapons pods) and jumpjets have always been fixed. Who is correct here? I am sure it states as much in my old true blue battle tech compendium, just not where.

Everything you said is fixed except for the jump jets these can be set as fixed equipment or as removable pods the rest are always fixed criticals.

thougth so. as far as the jump jets, if they are added as standard, and not as removab;e pods, then they are fixed. I think the Gladiator/Executioner mounts fixed jump jets

Right: Every fixed equipment on an OmniMech base chassis is just .... fixed! It can`t be moved around!
Period!
But there are a few people out there that weakend that rule for ES and FF to circumvent that challenge to construction of omni configurations!
But these are house rules! (It was discussed in that forum some months ago but i'm to lazy to search for it now! )

Well, for the most part, correct. However, endo-steel and ferro crits can be moved around within a section of the 'Mech...they just can't be moved to other sections of a 'Mech...

This comes in handy if, for some reason, the designer mounted the endo or ferro crits in the middle of a section, and you need the space to mount a large weapon, you can move them up or down within that section...

Sure: You can put them as low in a section as you need them to mount your weapons!
