Lately I played some duels, because I tried to teach the basics to some beginners, but lance vs. lance would be my favourite. (voted for duel) _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

The last few times I've played with chihawk (and this was some time ago) we each chose 4 mechs equalling a preset BV and selected an order we wanted to bring them in (hidden to the other play, of course). We then played 1v1 and when your mech died the next in line started right where the last one died.
Made for some fun. Although chihawk got his butt kicked last time we played. His dice-rolling just isn't what it use to be. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I put lance on lance though it could also be objective as well. But with Oafman's merc group consisting of a lance in strength it has been hard for me to just swarm him with too many opponents at once. So I try to keep it 4 on 4-12 as much as posible. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?
I lean more towards objective-style play. Duels and lance - lance (which is just a bigger duel, really) is nice for introductory and 'pick up' games, but I feel that objective play makes you a better player. _________________ Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
