I would like to create a large scenario involving Marik Militia units.
In opposition force I had 2 option:Marian Egemony(IV Legio) or MoC(Canopian Cuirassier).I will use 4 maps like this:

,but I had no idea how to make things fitting. So I love to create maps and painting, but now really I don't know how create a balanced (or even unbalaced scenario).
Here a quick reference roster.
Marik Militia

I was thinking to use MM like attacker and ME,or MoC like defender, but from where to start?Which mechs and vees could be better to use and which to exclude?
Hope to find good suggestion thx in advance.

Given the load-outs, I'd suggest that you have the Canopian unit be the defenders and the Marik unit be the attackers.

Have the Canopian LRM, SRM, and PPC carriers be strategically positioned to make use of their weapons ranges; I'd also recommend (if you have the minis) that you have at least a platoon of anti-mech infantry and an APC set up to guard each carrier. Not only would this be tactically smart, but it would also help level out the BVs.

The Canopian Locust and Cicada would be best used as harrassers, although the Marik unit is so large that they'd be wiped out quickly. I'd personally allow the Canopians to have 2 - 4 Savannah Masters to help out in this capacity; again, tactically smart and helps to level out BV.

As to why Marik would send someone out after Canopian territory, I'll leave that up to you.

Yeah some infantry platoon it seems a good idea.Maybe a full company with some truck x trasport(not all AMT maybe just 1 platoon).
Adding also some fast hover like savannah it will be possible too.
Do you think should i drop the heavy lance from MM,in order to give a more balanced game or give some victory condition and which?

That big blue building in the middle of the city looks good. Maybe defend that?

Canopian:
1. Given that it's an urban environment, it would only make sense for there to be multiple platoons of infantry out and about, with some means to transport them.

*Place one platoon of infantry and one tracked APC next to each of your carriers (SRM, LRM, PPC). You will need to deploy your LRM and PPC carriers on top of one of the hills for best effect, and so they need someone there to guard them. The SRM carrier should be located somewhere that will make maximum effect of its SRMs while minimizing the chance of it getting hit by long-range fire.

*Have two more platoons of infantry with wheeled APCs inside the town itself. They represent the police force and civil militia who did not accompany the evacuating civilians. They function as the last line of defense.

2. Give the Canopian defenders 2 - 4 Savannah Master hovercraft.

3. The Merlin would do well to stay back and snipe with its PPC and LRM. The Marshall, Locust, and Cicada can be used to block any units that appear like they're going to get through.

Tactics- The Canopian unit is defending its home turf, and so will fight until either they're all dead or the Marik unit is destroyed / retreating. However, they are not stupid; the Savannah Masters, infantry, and APCs are expendable, but the carriers are not. If the carriers are threatened, then they will be pulled back.

The Canopian defenders need to kill quickly. Priority should go to the Harrassers, Mantises, and the heavy lance. Killing the Mantises will deny the Marik forces air superiority, and destroying the others will deny the Marik unit their long-range punch.

The rest should not be ignored, which is why your Savannah Masters are so important; it will be up to them to mix things up and keep the enemy off guard.

Marik:

1. The Marik forces would do well to exploit their air superiority by trying to close with the carriers and destroy them quickly; without the carriers to provide fire support, the Canopian defenders will not be able to hold.

2. The Yeoman should stay near the rear of the Marik formation, with the other mechs protecting it. The Yeoman has no short-range weapons, and so will be in a great deal of trouble if someone can close with it. Two Galleons should logically be used to help protect it.

3. The Harrassers should be used as mobile fire support; their mission will be to make quick strikes at any Canopian unit that presents itself.

4. The light lance and the other two Galleons should be doing the bulk of the fighting; they have the speed to mix it up. The two Orions and the Perseus should stay back and snipe.

Glitch: The Yeoman pilot is the unit commander, and the Perseus pilot is his second-in-command. The Yeoman pilot is gung-ho, while the Perseus pilot has his doubts.

If the Perseus is knocked down first, this will leave the Yeoman pilot in sole command. He will not stop fighting until one of the following two happens:

* All of the Canopian units have been destroyed.
*The Yeoman has run out of ammo and the surviving Canopian forces are strong enough to directly threaten him.

If the Yeoman is knocked down first, then the pilot of the Perseus will be in charge. He will halt the battle if one of the following happens:

*The Canopian units surrender or are destroyed.
*1/2 of the Marik unit's total BV (roughly 6,836 points) has been destroyed or crippled.

NICE MAP!!!!!

Are you using Max Tech or Total Warfare Rules? Really changes vehicles up.
Max Tech more surviveable, Totla Warfare is more survivable but mobility gets knocked out quickly, especially hover.

The Mantis can be a real pain and wipe out the light carriers and immobilize the hovers very easily. With that many it the risk. Change that 4th lance to

i wonder if your map is big enough for the forty or so units you want to put on it...also, having the city be in the corner, if its the primary objective, gives the defender a bit of an unfair advantage.

If the Marik unit is the attacker, then it's sheer size represents an unfair advantage.

Forcing the unit to deal with the mountains would work to counter-act that.
