==Overview:==
Although the Hetzer was potent in its assigned task of fire support, its lack
of a secondary weapon and peculiar design flaws meant that as newer
technologies appeared it became more and more obsolete.
With sales starting to falter, Quikscell decided to try and cut their losses.
Although they would continue to produce Hetzers, they would scale back
production. Instead, they would begin to manufacture a unit based on the
Hetzer: the Slingshot.
Instead of the AC/20, the vehicle now sports a Thumper artillery piece. As
both weapons are ballistic in nature, it took little effort on the parts of
the assigned engineers to make the necessary modifications to the chassis. As
the nature of the Thumper means that the unit is not supposed to close with
the enemy, the decision was made that the Hetzer's assorted failings (lack of
a turret, limited manueverability, etc.) would not be issues.

Very very interesting. I especially like the fluff.
One request though. And this is mostly because I tend to see vehicles a little differently than others and use them as often as possible.
Would it be possible to mount the weapon so it can be rear firing instead of out the front? This is basically because I would rather have them backed into position so when and if thier position is over run they can beat a hasty retreat instead of having to turn around and then try to hightail it out of the area. _________________ Stinger If it's "creepy" to use the Internet, military satellites, and robot aircraft to find a house full of gorgeous young models so I can drop in on them unexpected, then FINE, I'm "creepy".
