==Overview:==
The Tactical Command Vehicle or TCV isn't a state of the art military command
center, instead it is a moblie command center for small operations that many
police units have to deal with. Kidnapping, bank robberies, hostage situations
etc...
The TCV comes equiped with a short range missile launcher that has special
ammunation taylored for it. These include tear gas, guilty-puke gas as well as
fire retardant foam and what some like to call the hammer head round or the
water charge. These are solid warheads that punch holes into walls for
breaching operations and do not explode.
The TCV also has a machinegun that can fire both lethal and non-lethal rounds,
aka rubber bullets, the use of which is mainly for self protection and
intimidation factors, nothing more nothing less.
The computer system on the TCV includes video equipment, phone banks, satailte
communactions as well as computers, printers and other things needed to handle
the many tasks this vehicle will be used for. One of the best features is the
built in coffee machine.
Found on numerous worlds in known space, the TCV has made a repuation for
itself and will continue to see service for many years to come.

Aren't command vehicles generally different machines from the SWAT tanks IRL? _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Wolfwood to a random cat (Trigun)

Depends on the city. I have seen some in DC that doubled as both command and control and as tactical vehicles.
Given that this is set in universe where the bad guys could have access to military hardware far easier then those of today, a dual purpose vehicle would be something some police forces would want. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato
