Which mechs best fit the playing style and attitude of NFL teams?
For example, the 49ers of the 80's had Montana and Young with high pass percentages so I would equate them with Catapults and Archers. The tough Bears defense would be symbolized by the lumbering Atlas.
Any ideas? Hate the idea? Am I stretching my imagination too far?

And modifications with medium lasers (4S, 6S) can be useful elsewhere as well... _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

Then I guess that would make Trent Green a Rifleman, One swift hit and he's down for the count.
And Peyton Manning as a Gunslinger... _________________ Sir Henry

Mostly the idea popped into my head after reading Fridays ESPN page getting ready for the weekend match ups in the NFL. I came in here right after that and voila!

Well, Jerome Bettis is obviously an Atlas. Slow, but big enough to hurt you if it doesn't have to go far.
And both are in retirement too _________________ "The enemy's gate is down."

THAT would be an upset worthy of historical note, wouldn't it? kind of like a lance of Locusts beating a lance of Atlases _________________ Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side & a dark side, and strings also lie under it all.

It can be done. If the Atlas lance happens to be powered down and in a repair bay.
