Okay below is a copy f the email I got from UCON, so I am trying to help them out since I am stuck at Ft. Hood, and won't be able to make this year:
Greetings Gamers!
We are gearing up for another U-Con but we need YOUR events to make this convention a success. Please visit our website to submit your events.
Here are the dates you need to know:
- Friday, August 31, 11:59pm - Event submission deadline (for pre-reg listing)
- Friday, September 7 - Events schedule available online
We are pleased to announce that Loren Wiseman will join us as guest of honor. He is a founding partner of Game Designers' Workshop and his professional credits include Traveller. Thus, we are looking for GMs interested in running Traveller (or GURPS Traveller) - contact us at <events@ucon-gaming.org> as we'll waive your GM deposit.
Finally, we need your help to spread the word about U-Con. Please let your friends know about us, and you can use one of our new fliers to do it. First, we have a flier for our gamemasters who run games at other conventions - a great way to advertise your events at U-Con. Second we have another flier for anywhere. Please consider downloading a flier and letting everyone know that you enjoy your time at U-Con.
We look forward to seeing you in November!

So that is the email. Hope some of you can make it. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

below) or just purchase your badge. Please note that there are a few events that have yet to be added to the schedule, including seminars by our Guest of Honor, the RPGA Living campaigns, and others. If there's a game missing that you want to play, there is still time to submit it!

>
> Come and join us as we present the very best games of 2007: Those > submitted to the annual Origins Awards. There will be folks on hand to > teach and demonstrate these hot, new board games. Some of these will > end up being the same games that you will have an opportunity to vote > for at the Origins 2008 Game Expo! Come to U-Con, and play some of the > best new games of the year!
As part of our celebration of 30 Years of Science Fiction gaming, we are excited to have Loren Wiseman as our Guest of Honor. Mr. Wiseman is a game designer and founding partner in Game Designers' Workshop, where he co-created the Traveller RPG in 1977.
In other news, for those attendees who are seeking local accommodations, we'd like to suggest visiting the Ann Arbor Visitors and Conventions Bureau for a list of hotels <www.annarbor.org/accommodations>
(this link is also available on our website).
We look forward to seeing you at U-Con!

Greetings!
U-Con is 15 days away and we are almost ready to go. We've added a number of new events, including RPGA events. If you want to run something, we may still have a few spaces left. Use our website to submit your events. We will accept events until *tomorrow,* Friday, October 26 at 11:59pm - we'd wait longer but we need to get the convention book to the printers.
Pre-registration remains open until Friday, November 2 at 11:59pm. The price for a weekend badge goes up at the door. Several of our events have already filled up, so get your choices in early!

Well I made it on Saturday only. They had one game only, run by Commando Hedgehog. It was a sort of Matrial Olypiad. Each session was only an hour. Not my style but I played. Friday and Sunday had 2 sessions each more my style.
I took a Jenner F and a Steiner Tbolt. Old 3025. I was third out of 4. Problem was first game. Round 2, my Tbolt was head shot. Well it was the second LPL to the head. Then Jenner got crippled fighting against a Tempest and PPC verison Hussar. Second round was 2 Scarabuses. They killed by Jenner by chopping of the head. I killed one and crippled the other. Final game was Locust and Sagitaire. I whacked the Locust quick. The Sagitare would not die. And I mean he was flopping on the ground missing an arm, holes in all but one leg, overheating but not shutting down. I crippled him. But he crippled my T-bolt. If that did not happen I would have taken second. My flamer did mess up my enemies in two games.
But I had a good time. That is all that is important.
AWAD- I hate head shots early
