Well, actually, I have never seen the Hollander II design until after reading the review, then looking it up in the TRO. Not really meant to be like the HOllander or the H-II. Just needed a fast mobile heavy hitter. i think my Gemini will take the better part of either afore mentioned design, though. Give it a shot and let me know what you might think then.

And yet it ended up like one..  Well, it's faster, more fragile and more exprensive as well. The armour isn't too strong on side torsos, which may be a problem if it has to face something with similar armament (one-shot kill). I can see how a 6/9 gauss can be used on the field, but the 'Mech is far from perfect on my rating scale. I can take a look into the problem if you want (SD is always looking for some designing work).

Sure. Of course, I have always been of the mind that in most cases, the weaknesses are what give the machine some flavor. Makes piloting more interesting when you have to think about things like that.

Well, some mistakes are better avoided, but the main problem for me is the similarity to the Hollander. The armour would take away one point from the rating at best, another 0.5 could go away for weapons.
