You know, technically, there are no "levels" anymore!
Having said that, I won't ever stop thinking about rules in those categories, either!
Nevertheless, the new Wobblie Omnis do not mount any lvl3 equipment. At. All.
A whole bunch of technology has been upgraded (or should that be "downgraded"?) to lvl2-equivalent with the advent of TW. One-shot missile launchers have even been upgraded to lvl1!
Anything appearing in TacOps will from now on have "lvl3" status - which, strangely, includes our good old artillery pieces that we've known from the get-go!
As for other "lvl3" - as far as the new TRO goes, the only rumours in that direction have been the Age of War designs that use some sort of primitive technology. The word is, that a rules set will appear in Tac Ops that allows us to build primitive 'mechs similar to the old Mackie in TRO:3058 (un-upgraded). _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

ah but the excessive use of lvl 3 tech like compact gyros, small cockpits and composite gyro leave a bad taste in my mouth. :p

that is what he is saying bladewin, their is no level play anymore. their is tourney legal and advanced.
As of the release of the 'Techmanual a lot of old level 3 items became tourney legal. So as of 3067 all the items you list are EQUAL to level 2 tech. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.
