Here is something I have been toying around with. And for the record no I do not feel that the SV rules will give me what I am after, hence why I did not use them to make this.
Simple vehicle really, for an idea of what it might look like picture one of the airboats you see in the swamps of the southern US and add some weapons and armor to them...but this one has the advantages of being a hovercraft as well.

==Overview:==
Using semi-circular base protected by an armored shell. Mounted on the rear
was a large turbofan, which, working with the hovercrafts fusion engine,
propelled the craft through swamps. The 216.0 km/h thrust-fan provided both
forward propulsion and a precise braking airblast when reversed.
It was crewed by two soldiers that sat on either side of the engine, operating
controls or firing the vehicle's two forward-mounted pulse lasers.
These twin-pulse lasers were highly effective against infantry forces and
other light armor vehicles and postions.
Overall the ISPH has seen use on many of the aquatic and swampy worlds in both
the Inner Sphere and the Periphery. Its' low cost and realitve easy of
maintance has made it a welcome to many both out side of the military as well
as with in the military.

Heh... this thing looks great, but for me it would go only with standard engine if possible, maybe a single MG, and more standard armour. The firepower can be left to the infantry squad it could carry
