Okay, I am trying to figure out how many worlds are in most of the Battltech star systems, does anyone have any ideas or have a suggest on how to figure this out?

A solar system that can support life usually has between 3 and 10 planets depending on star type. Sol is a prime example in fact of the layout for similar stars. Wasn't there something about this in either Aerotech, AT2, BattleSpace, or the Explorer Corps handbook? I think it was in the ECH, but I'm pretty sure there is "data" on this somewhere.

wow, nice to see that it includes the life band on that image. really helps figure what planet is likely to have or support life in each type of star system. Remember, worlds like Hesperus II are at the front of that band while planets like Tharkad are at the back end.

Umm, its been in my collection for years. I just googled Hab Zone using the google image search to find that on a wiki for linking to here.

Between that and the Explorer Corps handbook, I think it should be pretty easy to design a solar system.

I realize they aren't battletech, but the various GURPS space books have some good info too. You can find pdfs sometimes... don't ask me on the legality since some are some aren't

I have a lot of the GRUPS Space books and atlas, which have add a lot of extras "worlds" and such for my games over the years. I have even looked back over some of the older Battletechnology magazines that had planets and such in them with data for idea.
