Hear me out on this one.
In the Mechwarrior 4 games, the UAC/2 has the second-highest rate-of-fire in the game, second only to the machine gun array.
Between that and its long range, you can actually chew lighter targets to shreds well before they can get close to you.
Thus, I was thinking of this as a one-off boss mech. You've ground the Blakist offensive to a halt, and now you're going on a counter-offensive. Realizing that they need to up their game to take you out, they send a sniper against you... this guy.

I like this one, I can see it as good sniper mech that get the other side to be drawn in and then it's lance mates bring in their pain on the enemy. Good use of the UAC2s.
