Overview:
    A variant of the old Stalker 3F.

Capabilities:
    The main changes are in the long to medium range weapons with the removal of the
    Large Lasers for Light PPCs and an upgrade of the LRM launchers. Some pilots frown
    on this variant as it does not increase the ammo so limits the Stalkers time in
    ranged combat, while others appreciate the added range of the LPPCs which they
    feel gives them greater punch at range with the large LRMs. The recommended tactic
    with this variant is to hammer foe(s) at range until the LRMs are exhausted then
    close and do any finishing off with the medium lasers and SRMs.

Deployment:
    Currently they are no know Mechs in existance that field this weapons
    configuration. The design plans for this and other LPPC variant Mechs came to
    light not long after the Word of Blake splintered from Comstar. It would appear
    that Star League designers and engineers were doing field testing on LPPCs and
    equipped a number of designs.

Variants:
    Notes along with the variant suggest some engineers considered leaving the LRM 10s
    in place and using the additional tonnage for more heat sinks and armor.

Notable MechWarriors:
    There is a rumor with limited BattRon evidence that Hanse Schmidt of The Jade
    Company piloted a Stalker with such a weapons configuration during around 3015.
