I recall folks complaining about the torso mounted cockpit, when this came out. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

Unbound:
3 tons
1 extra sensor crit in CT w/ Cockpit
Life Support in each ST.
Can eject.
No skill modifier.
3rd sensor allows movement at 1/2 speed and a +3 penalty to gun/pilot if primaries are knocked out.
Life Support can only take 1 hit, and damages pilot @ 1 dmg per full 5 heat on heat track (0 dmg 0 - 4, 1 dmg 5-9, ect.).
Compatible with DNI.
TacOps:
4 tons
1 extra sensor crit in CT w/ Cockpit
Life Support in each ST.
Can not eject.
+1 to Piloting.
Reduced penalties from sensor crits. 1 hit - +2 gun, 2 hits - +4 gun, and 3 hits - no weapons and +4 to piloting.
3rd sensor if only 1 remaining also causes +4 to physicals and piloting.
Life Support can only take 1 hit, and damages pilot @ 1 dmg per 1 - 14 heat and 2 per 15+ heat on heat track.
Compatible with VDNI and BVDNI as per standard cockpits.
Yah, I can see why'd they complain. Especially when combined with the -2 to gun and -3 to pilot a DNI grants. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Didn't the old torso-mounted cockpit rules get you a pilot hit each time the CT was hit? Or am I just making that up? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
