I am not sure when this came up in a game...but I am sure it was against Gangrene cause I remember it happening during my DFA turn...
Do LB-Xs get Flak rules against jumping 'mechs? I dont think they do...doesnt seem right to me.

Nope, use the "regular" LBx rules (depending on ammo fired) against a mech DFA'ing.

Except you're hitting a mech....so why would you get any bonus for that?

Because the LAM, when it doesn't land after a jump,
"Moves as a VTOL, and is treated as such."
So, Flak should effect it, since it's treated as a VTOL while flying. If it just jumps, then no Flak bonus.
IMHO and all that jazz.

No, Talen is talking about hitting a jumping mech as you'd be able to if that unit was DFAing, not a LAM. No bonus for that.

Well I think this came up in a tourney once now that I remember. If you have the proper ammo it acts as a normal target for that ammo.
Chihawk I dont understand what you said in that last post.

I honestly don't believe that it should get the bonus. I've never seen anyone play with a rule like that.
