i heard from a friend of mine currently attending DigiPen (Nintendo's official videogames design university) that Microsoft has teamed up with Konami and some DigiPen students and the intellectual property right owners of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise to create a game that will use TMNT & BT in a single multiplayer computer game. Basically Krang, Shredder, mutants, and hordes of rock soldiers and foot soldiers have travelled to the future and are fighting Clan Wolverine. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, April O'Neil, Master Splinter, Lt. Saki, and other heroes and heroines arrive in the future also. MechForce Quarterly said in the late 1990s that Clan Wolverine is fighting aliens; i think it's cool that Clan Wolverine is fighting these Dimension X aliens and Shredder and mutants. So what do you all want to see in this game? i want this game to use BT rules as much as possible while providing for intense action. _________________ "Okay friendlies, you're not paid to be exclusively a 'MechWarrior', vehicle/spacecraft crewer, fighter pilot, or infantry trooper. Alayne Leung, i wouldn't want this game to exist for 6 valid reasons:
first, Krang's Technodrome is way smaller than a 2.5Mton WarShip and it would look silly if a 2.5Mton WarShip was to try to orbitally attack and destroy the Technodrome while it's on a planet (probably earth), but if Krang used the Technodrome's molecular size increasement switch to make the Technodrome much bigger, then that would probably be okay;
second, i don't know if you heard about the lawsuit between Playmates & Harmony Gold vs. FASA (FASA used to own the BT intellectual items' rights until they were transferred to Topps/Catalyst Game Labs), well FASA tried to sue Playmates over an Exosquad e-frame that looked like a BT 'Mech, and Harmony Gold tried to sue FASA for BT unit pictures that looked like RoboTech vehicles, so since then, the makers of BT products rarely accept new ideas, and thus it's doubtful they'd accept a TMNT & BT game merging idea;
third, the timeline events of TMNT & BT couldn't coexist together as a single merged timeline perfectly because there'd have to be a huge amount of new designing of TMNT & BT events that exist at the beginning of the 21st Century (they could be merged but that would require the characters from the TMNT universe to enter the BT universe at preferably 3200 AD and also would require them to somehow have a "reason" to enter the BT universe at 3200 AD instead of continuing their 20th Century & early 21st Century timeline);
fourth, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are propeace while BT is prowar;
fifth, TMNT favors doing away with corporations but BT promotes corporations;
and sixth, TMNT is very munchy favoring whereas BT isn't very munchy favoring;
however, i've been incorrect before on games being released to be sold to consumers, and i presume there has been the AeroTech 2 mod for the egame Homeworld that some person on the internet created, and given how that Microsoft wants to own so many intellectual items' rights, i suppose that it could perhaps be possible that in 15 or 20 years this egame might be created after Microsoft either purchases or gets licensed the TMNT intellectual items' rights, but i doubt it for the very most part _________________ any BT information that i post should not be considered official BT information unless said BT information that i post can be legally quoted from a published up to date BT product

I think there was an april fools module doing something similar - Nebula California. Aside from that TMNT has no place in CBT universe aside from some home-made wacky reference. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

If this an April Fool's joke, then it's going to be, without a doubt, on consumers of this "combogame" given how that there's going to be so much for the consumers of Microsoft and Konami. I remember in the 4th episode of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series (episode Hot Rodding Teenagers of Dimension X) when Krang says to Shredder, "My stone warriors are a massed in Dimension X waiting to overrun this world at my command. But all I need is a body.", and Shredder says to Krang, "Dimension X of course. The transdimensional portal is already complete. Your home dimension is a place of total war, is it not?" and Krang replies "Yes, a war that has been carried on ever since I was banished here."

And that BT book Total Warfare is already published.
