Dear Mordel,
For some reason I can't seem to send private messages (the Subit button doesn't function when I click on it). Also, I'd like to join The Saloon group - I'm friends with First Lady Michelle Obama, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and Sen. Barbara Boxer; and I'd like to provide information as to how actions are going in D.C. and throughout the USA. Thanks.

The messaging system seems busted, so I'll need to fix it. I'll add it to the list.
Regarding the Saloon, I only grant access to long-standing members who have contributed for a lengthy period of time or those members who have other longstanding members who can vouch for them.

I'm have the same issue, I've tried sending messages to you, Vaga, and Chi, with no luck at all...HELP!!

Site messages is down until I can fix it. I was in the process of updating it a while back when they moved servers and messed up everything on my site. The only way to recover was to upload all my files from my local machine (including those not yet updated).
It's why the site messages doesn't work and why this reply page looks like crap. They're both on my list and will be done soon enough...

Replying to this instead of starting a new thread.
Whenever I try to use the site messenging option, I get:
"The following required item(s) are missing data:
* Message"
But the message is there, and even the spellchecker acknowledges that.

I just sent you a site message, so we may need to investigate this some. Or at the very list get some more information. Assuming you got the message, I'd love a screenshot showing the issue, as well as letting me know what browser and version you're using.

Ah, so it sent it because there was a message in the body (technically your own, with quotes) and an addressee. Both because I pressed reply.
Earlier when I tried it, I was clicking directly on profiles to send SM. It only gave me the text body bug.
Right now, I've tried to send a message from scratch and the bug pertains both to addressee and text body. I've got a screenshot, I'll send it via FB?

OK, this was some old javascript code. I updated it so it should work now. I didn't try all browsers, but did check IE and Chrome. Give it a try and let me know if it's ok.

Message thing still happening. 
And yes, spell check does pick up that there's something in the message box. Just the send button doesn't...

Try again. It would have actually helped had I uploaded the changed code instead of just testing it locally and claiming it fixed!
