I thought the same thing. I looked at the weapons and was like 'now this looks promising' and then saw IJJs and HDGyro and was all 'well, crap' then looked at the speed and said 'welp, thats done.'

Seems to me that we are seeing a repeat of the old 3055 stuff where hey slapped new tech on things and went crazy with it. Not many of those designs were thought out beyond hey we have new tech let's build with it.
