Although i vastly favour the Cent, i have to give it to the Enforcer here.
In a duel, the Enforcer is simply so much better due to it being more agile then the Cent, the low amount of ammo also will not hurt the Enf anyhow. However, in unit actions, the Cent is more versatile imo.

More versatile yes, but not a lot more. I usually put one of each in a lance, works great hehe.

If you go by pure numbers the 30pts of damage done by the CN9-A and 8.5 tons of armor is a better choice in a one-on-one battle against the 18 points done by the ENF-4R, even with its 9 tons of armor. Plus the Centy looks way cooler , of course the jump jets of the Enforcer will help its pilot manuever better, but I've never been a big fan of JJ's. _________________ "Do or do not, there is no try"

Actually in a duel the Cent is in disadvantage. LRMs cannot keep the Enforcer away and as soon as the ENF is in minimum range of the LRMs it's cent's 15 (AC and one laser, second laser is pointed to the rear) against ENFs 21 (don't forget about the small laser). Cent is not fast enough to stay at ranges that are advantageous for it.

Where do you get that 30 points of damage from? At medium ranges you´ll have an AC/10 and a LRM-10 together with 16 points of average damage and at short range you´ll have a single medium laser (The other points backwarts!) that will push you to 21 points of damage with some difficulty to hit with that LRM cause of min range!
