I'm sure they will at some point. Well, Classic Battletech should at any rate. MWDA? Who knows (or cares).

While the idea has it's fun side, the whole munchkin abuse of this would out way anything really cool.

That reminds me, long ago, JAG had a player who wanted to run around with a sack full of capital missiles, chucking them like darts at the target.
JAG asked if it was possible.
Someone replied, "Sure, but remember 2 things: 1) Capital missiles are measured in tons per shot, not shots per ton. 2) There's the -4 modifier to hit an immobile target. Let the guy hold the sack, he ain't going anywhere.
Munchkins are fun though. Especially when you can stomp them with good old fashioned tactics and skill over fancy designs and rules-lawyering.
