Well, unless I can swipe the dice needed out of a Monopoly box, then I need the specialty dice and my local Waldenbooks or Barnes and Noble don't seem to stock D4, D8, D10, or D20s. As far as getting ...

Got to go with the Whammer/Centurion combo as my first choice. Plenty of firepower there. Second choice would be the Wolfhound/Archer S, even in such tight quarters as you're describing.

Not getting hit in the first place is the best armor of all, I agree. I just don't think that adding in an XL gives enough of a speed boost to the heavies and assaults to justify the added vulnerabil ...

I knew what the fluff for the Art. IV meant, but I was just kind of trying to make it a little more useful. It isn't like the time in flight for a LRM salvo (even at the max of 630 meters) is going t ...

I don't know that it is a world of difference. Sure a 5/8 can eak out a +2/+3 if running in a straight line in flat, open terrain as opposed to a +1/+2, but that doesn't really happen all that often ...

I've noticed that Narc and iNarc (especially the standard pods) just don't seem to get used all that often, even in canon designs. Art. IV gets used a bit more often, but still isn't the most common ...

I never really liked the XL engine, unless it was used to gain a significant speed boost. I don't really consider being able to go from 4/6 with a standard to a 5/8 with a XL to be worth the effort, ...
