I wanted to use some of the "newer" L2 and L3 tech to see if I could make the design closer to the VF-1S Super Veritech that the design is based off of. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." I'm half-tempted to make the Sukhoi Su-47 the base chassis for the aerospace mode, but with definite modifications.
Standard LAM rules say that the wings become the side torsos, the nose becomes the arms, and the aft becomes the legs.
Visually, the cockpit would be pushed back somewhat closer to the front canards. The rear tail-booms, meanwhile, would be evened out.
I figure that the air intakes / front canards would become the shoulders, with the nose splitting down the middle; the nosecone halves would fold inside, allowing the hands to come out without obstructing the lasers.
The cockpit would do a 180-degree rotation, so that the canopy glass becomes the "face" of the machine; the ER Laser, meanwhile, would rotate 90 degrees and position itself at the top of the head. The wings and the "fast pack" would push forward to become a "jet pack" for the torso (which would form from the bulk of the fuselage), while the engine sections would slide out to form the legs.
This gives us a Phoenix Hawk LAM that has a smooth transformation and is in no way, shape, or form cosmetically similar to the original Veritech design. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat."
