I sort of like this, makes more sense than the heat heavy original. I just wish the AC had a bit more punch for the weight and I dislike ammo on an IS XL. Still this is a nice fast fire support Mech.

Nah, This is a downgrade with 16 tons of paperweight pretty soon. One ton of AC/5 ammo is not enough on Rifleman and it won't be much better here, where there is a lot of armour and less backup.

Naaah. 2 LPPC, HPPC, moar DHSs, maybe MASC or TC. Or perhaps some of the new fancy lasers instead of PPCs. AC/5s need more ammo to shine (or fire fancier ammo that also requires a bit more ammo load.
