Hello, oh mighty Mordel. I've been increasingly using the TRO section of your site again.
While I honestly think it's one of the most awesome BT resources on the internet, I do find the current navigation very unwieldy.
Not sure what to suggest in the long run. I really enjoyed the prior navigation before you started revamping it all. So right now, I'd probably just request having the filters permanently placed at the top of the results tables. This fulfills two purposes: a) it is quicker than having to select them manually and b) any newcomer will automatically see his options.
We don't want new "tl;dr people" to jump out of the section before realising what it can really do, right? 
If could consider the above or an alternative, it'd be fantastic!

Glad to hear someone is using it other than me. 
I plan on revamping the filter capabilities quite substantially in the future. That will make it more robust as well as make it more visible, but doesn't address your unwieldy comment. I know part of it is just getting there, which I'll need to address on the home page as well as some potential portal links in the navigation/left pane.
Aside from updates to aid in getting to the unit listing, what else would you suggest for the listing? The old way was easy because I grouped by TRO. Catalyst has made a mess of that because not every unit is in a TRO, but there are also a lot more now! I could add a couple "quick filters". Things like 'TRO: <Select>' where the user can select an existing TRO, as well as 'Name/Model: <Name>' where folks enter a name of a unit to filter for. But what else could be done?

What about filtering them by RS volume instead of TRO? Right now, you're focusing on the stats side of things, and that works great with RS filtering.
I mean, technically, that's what you were really filtering in the older incarnation, too. You had RS Upgrades in there, as well.
Beyond that, I guess a bit of trial and error may do it good? As soon as the UI changes, ideas will present themselves, I'm willing to bet.
