Who here has had an entire bad fought in rough terrain (i.e. rumble, rocks, etc...)?

If you have what was the out come and how much of a role did the terrain play?

I don't recal having a fight in all rough terrain. But one time I did GM a fight in all light and heavy woods terrain with some hills. My friends had 4 lance medium to heavy company of veteran and elite pilots and I threw a whole light mech battalion (regulars with some veterans) at them.

I lost, but stomping and jumping around in those woods all day sure was fun. They loved their long range weapons, so I gave them a close range hit and run slugfest with lots of physical contact. If I recall, I was able to wipe out one lance that strayed too far from the others and took down at least 1 mech in each of the other lances and left the rest looking fairly beat up. But my battalion of light Kuritans were mostly taken out doing it.
