==Overview:==
With the advent of more advanced technologies, older designs are being
refined and reproduced. With the failure of massive amounts of modern day w
machines, older more proven designs are seeing the light of day after a dec
of neglect.
In 3050 many vehicles were refitted or redisigned with lostech. One of
these the venerable P. Hawk, which sad to say did not get the better end of
advancment deal. This so called improved P. Hawk proved to overheat, and ha
very low combat life.
At the end of the Fed Com cival war, in an effort to bolster the weeke
economy plans were laid to take sush neglected proven designs and breath ne
life into them. Thus Coventry Metal Works began construction on a prototype
Hawk.
==Capabilities:==
The prototype X3, is the calmination of proven construction and grand
ideas. The first thing handled was the engine, which on other updated versi
was to bulky or to easily damaged. Thats why a new Light engine was choosen
decreased the engines weight while preventing high vulnerability.
Also the chassie was constructed of endo-steel, lightening its mass w
retaining its strength. Over this is the thickest layer of ferro-fiberous
allowed on this size chassie. Offering the most protection that designers c
give. To counter heat problems double heat sinks were added.
Following in the foot steps of its for father, the X3 mounts an ER Lar
Laser for ranged attacks. Backing these up are the newly constructed ER Med
Laser. While designers wanted to include the twin machine guns, space and m
issues prevented there inclusion.
Overall the design has increased speed, manuverability, protection,
offensive powers, and heat effiency. After its test trials its beleaved to
put into full production.
