Overview:
A joke turned deadly, the UM-R60B UrbanBatMech, or UrbanMech Batman is a result of a joke
that Batman can make even the Trashcan fly, if it becomes a BatCan. Well, it turns out that
he didn't quite make it, but he got pretty close. And he liked it so much that he drives it
now. The R60B Urbie has a pair of bat-like wings stuffed behind it's back to make phenomenal
(for an UrbanMech at least) 150 meter leaps while dressed in a slick black suit. Alfred had
to go through some hoops and loops to fit everything in, but the next star of Solaris VII
Urbie league is here.
Capabilities:
The UrbanBatMech packs the same punch as the old Urbie, although it's Plasma Rifle has twice
the ammo load. Nobody can really catch Batman and so his chosen Urbie shouldn't be affraid
to take some dicey shots while maneuvering through the arena's tight confines. Small pulse
laser is there more for show than anything, but something is better than nothing. It turned
pretty useful when rounding up Blakist insurgents occassionally.
Deployment:
UrbanBatMan can be hiding anywhere inside and out of the Gotham City Arena. Don't mess with
it wherever it is.
Variants:
There is only one UrbanBatMech. Blakists don't like it.
Notable MechWarriors:
Batman of course, although in horror stories they call him George.
