This is the third of my "quick-hitting" series of patches. The below lists all the changes with this patch in more detail:

Defects
  • Fixed an issue where an administrator could create canon designs with the same name. The code has been updated so if you try to save a unit that has the same name as an existing canon design,
    you'll get a notice that you are trying to overwrite an existing design.
  • Fixed an issue where the Weapons and Ammo section of readouts for Superheavies listed an incorrect number of critical spots that equipment took up. The code has been updated to now show the correct number. This also means that certain things can actually take up 0.5 criticals; such as different ammo types assigned to the same slot.
  • Fixed an issue where a unit could potentially have a jump movement higher then the walk movement, but the jump type would still show as Standard. The code has been updated so that now, when the walking movement changes, the jump movement is higher then the walking movement, and Improved jump jets are not used, the jump movement will change to match the walking movement.
  • Fixed an issue where the dialog could hang under certain conditions when switching the technology base from Inner Sphere to Primitive. This was caused when the walking movement would result in the need for Large engines; which primitive engines do not support. The code has been updated so the walking movement will be reduced in these scenarios, so the modified engine rating would not be considered a large engine.
Enhancement
  • Updated the Superheavy Biped record sheet so the structure pips for the Center Torso, and the armor pips for the Center Torso Rear are now printed.
  • Modified site messaging so that now, when you are reading a message, there are Previous and Next icons to allow you to navigate through your messages without first having to go back to the folder.
  • Modified the PDF output for QuadVees so the record sheets now say 'Cockpit (Pilot)' and 'Cockpit (Gunner)'. This will help distinguish the two for purposes of critical damage tracking.
