Overview:
    The Grand Dragon DRG-6KC was created due to the lack of reliable C3 Master 'Mechs in the
    Medium and Heavy weight-classes. For units who are unable to purchase an assault Command
    'Mech due to the high costs, this Grand Dragon is a great alternative.

Capabilities:
    Based on the original production variant of the Grand Dragon - the DRG-5K - the DRG-6KC
    carries the same arm-mounted Lord's Light 2 ER PPC and Victory 23R Medium Laser of its
    predecessor, dropping the two rear-facing Medium Lasers to save weight. The C3 Master
    Computer is located in the design's Right Torso, while an Angel ECM in the left torso allows
    the Grand Dragon to counter enemy ECM systems to protect its C3 network from being jammed.
    The designers of the DRG-6KC wanted to improve the DRG-5K's firepower, which was below
    average for a Heavy battlemech. To accomplish this, they used a Compact Gyro to free up
    enough space in the Centre Torso to mount an SRM 6 and SRM 4 in place of the LRM 10. These
    have one ton of ammunition each, located in the Left Torso and CASE protected. Models
    purchased from the factory will come with NARC capable ammunition loaded so that the design
    can make use of friendly NARC spotters.
    
    Furthermore, to increase survivability the XL engine of the -5K was swapped out for a Light
    Fusion variant. To facilitate this change and the high tonnage of equipment carried by the
    -6KC, the engine rating was dropped from 360 to 300, giving the 'Mech a top speed of 86.4
    kph. On top of this, an Endo Steel Structure and Ferro Fibrous Armour free up enough weight
    to make the configuration possible. However, the DRG-6KC carries practically the maximum
    armour possible to be mounted on a 60-ton chassis, while the DRG-5K it is based upon has
    less protection than some 50 ton 'Mechs.
