==Overview:==
The HFY-3G was the second mass-produced scout and recon 'Mech to be
completed by DyCon Industries. a subsidery of Hardsell Conglomrate. First
designed after In 3079, the first Hellfyly came off the assembly line in
3080.
The Hellfly was designed as a scout and reconnaissance 'Mech, but it was
found to be more succesful hunting down other scout 'Mechs during the Jihad.
Though lightly armored and mounting limited weapons the Hellfly uses speed and
maneuverability, to make it a difficult target and a tough 'Mech to pin down.
==Battle History:==
During a raid on Malore by elements of the Seventh Capellan Lancers in
3092, Captain Walter Tannion led a unit of six Hellflys during the Battle of
Markerson. Attacking the recon lance of the Lancers, Captain Tannion's
lighter 'Mechs harrased the enemy but were soon cornered ands torn to bits by
the heavier enemy units. This is after three weeks of constant hit and run
attacks that had the Lancers spending more time chasing Tannion's mechs then
they did on destroying the production facilites on Malore.
