Overview:
The Cyclops was once a excellent battlefield command mech. But over time they became a
common target due to their ability to direct the flow of battle. Now that time has thinned
their numbers, and the field modification has indeed been met with tepid enthusiasm, the
Caph factory has decided to resurrect the design with a major overhaul a6t the request of
the Davion military. The redesign makes use of the latest technology and rearranges the
overall weapons layout.
Capabilities:
The redesign removes most of the original weapons from the popular 10-Z model. Deciding to
go with a more energy heavy design the AC10 was removed for a tried and true regular
Particle Projection cannon, beefing up the medium lasers in the arms are a pair of Light
Particle cannons. The switch to the PPC has been met with much debate, much of it revolved
around an upgrade to a Extended range model. Due to heat concerns a regular PPC was
installed instead. Both missile systems were removed and replaced with a pair of 7 tube
Multi Missile systems with two tons of ammunition each. Both launchers have a ton of short
and long range.
The biggest changes came from a decrease in speed which was offset by the addition of jump
jets. This major change allows for the inclusion of a seven ton communications computer,
with a beagle active probe.
Deployment:
So far there are only a quartet of the new model all of them are currently undergoing
testing with Davion high command. Rumors are the testing is going well.

Why not a command console or an Improved C3 system over the 7 ton comm system? _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

Truthfully I wanted all 3, but I wanted it to still have a battlefield presence. I might try it and damn the price. _________________ Stinger If it's "creepy" to use the Internet, military satellites, and robot aircraft to find a house full of gorgeous young models so I can drop in on them unexpected, then FINE, I'm "creepy".
